6-4-09- Rev1 Racing left the Legendary Knoxville Speedway this weekend in high spirits after driver Ricky Ehrgott along with crew Jay Drake and Tony Thomas maneuvered the Rev1 midget to a fifth place finish in Fridays King Doodlebug Classic and a 14th place finish in Saturdays feature. After qualifying fourth for Fridays feature, Ricky was the only car out of the top four qualifiers that transferred through the heat race into the feature. On Saturday, the night started off with an even greater qualifying effort of second for the Riverview, Florida native. A finishing position of third in the heat race placed Ricky in the fifth starting position for the feature. Unfortunately in the feature, handling issues plagued the number 8 midget resulting in a 14th place finish. Overall, the weekend proved to be a huge success for the team and an incredible boost of momentum for the upcoming Indiana Midget week. Rev1 Racings upcoming races will be Indiana midget week, five consecutive races in five days. Gas City I-69 speedway will be the location of the first race on Wednesday, June 10, followed by North Vernon, Bloomington, Lawrenceburg, and finally Kokomo Speedway on Sunday.
