My name is Ricky Ehrgott. I was born in Wharton, Texas. My birthday is December 2nd. I am 20 years old and live in Indianapolis, Indiana. I went to Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. I began racing in 2005 in the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series. My first year of racing consisted of weekly races at the Indianapolis Speedrome. I won a fifty-lap feature. I also finished second twice in the USAC Midwest Ford Focus series. I qualified for the Ford Focus National Championship race at Anderson Speedway.  I also finished 3rd in the Turkey Night Grand Prix Focus Midget race.

In 2006, I ran the full schedule in the Midwest Focus division. I won a 25 lap feature at Kilkare Speedway in Xenia, Ohio. I finished 5th in series points. I also raced a Skip Barber race at Sebring Raceway and finished second.  2006 was also the year for my midget debut. I finished eighth at Thunder Hill Speedway in Kyle, Texas.

In 2007, I ran the midget in the USAC Regional Series. I Won a feature at Mt Lawn Speedway and finished in the top 5 many times. I ended up 5th in the Regional Midget point standings. Before the Turkey Night Grand Prix, Ehrgott Racing purchased a new Beast Midget. We qualified 15th at Turkey Night and finished 16th after a power steering failure. We also set fast time at the PRI Sprint and Midget Classic. I won two races at the Skip Barber event at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course.

For 2008, I will be racing all of the USAC national midget pavement races and in addition many of the dirt races that are scheduled. My schedule this season has grown to 55 races from coast to coast.

Other facts:
For 2008, Ehrgott racing was changed to Rev1 Racing and moved into a shop in Brownsburg, Indiana. Rev1 Racing now maintains two pavement midgets and one newly purchased Spike dirt midget. Rev1 Racing hired Garrett Andrews at the end of last season as the chief mechanic for the three machines.
